Why can’t recipients unsubscribe from transactional emails sent via CleverReach?

Transactional emails are not promotional messages; they are system-critical communications triggered directly by an action—such as order and shipping confirmations, invoices, password resets, or security notices. They serve to fulfill a contract or inform you about a process you initiated. For that reason, they typically don’t include an unsubscribe link like a standard newsletter: an “unsubscribe” option would interrupt the intended process or prevent important documents and security information from being delivered. CleverReach acts solely as the sending service. The sender (e.g., a shop, app, or association) is responsible for the content, purpose, and frequency of transactional emails. CleverReach cannot technically or legally unsubscribe recipients from individual transactional messages. If you want to receive fewer messages, consider:

- Adjusting notification or communication settings directly in your account with the sender (if available).
- Disabling optional messages; legally required or security-related emails may still be necessary.
- Canceling the account/contract with the sender if you no longer use the underlying service.
- Contacting the sender if an address is incorrect or you received an email by mistake.

In short: transactional emails are necessary service messages from the sender; CleverReach only provides the sending infrastructure—therefore, there is no standard unsubscribe option after receipt as there is with newsletters.
